Hello, we are Sevay Tekcan and Sinem Taylor, the founders of Laleva Natural.

At Laleva Natural, our purpose is to share the goodness within us by creating natural products we describe as “skin nutrition”—formulas that are beneficial to human health and skin.

Our Background

Let us introduce ourselves and tell you how Laleva Natural was born.

We come from a family rooted in the healthcare sector. My name is Sevay and my field is biochemistry, and for 17 years I managed the manufacturing and R&D department at Turkey’s first diagnostic factory in Izmir, a facility my husband and I worked hard to help to establish. In 2004, when my daughter was admitted to Koç University to study chemical and biological engineering, our responsibilities shifted toward Istanbul, changing the course of our lives.

As a family, we have always lived with respect and love for people, nature, and the universe. In Turkey, I first started with the brand Miracleixir, with the intention of sharing the goodness inside us through the products we created.

The Beginning of a Journey

My love for cosmetics began in my youth. For many years, I used world-renowned luxury cosmetic brands. However, over time, the chemicals used in these products—to preserve them, deliver quick results, and make them smell pleasant—caused me to develop severe allergies. Eventually, I could no longer use any cosmetic products.

Because of this, in 2017, I began researching natural cosmetic raw materials and formulations. My background in production and knowledge of raw materials and chemistry helped me greatly in developing formulas. I first created moisturizers and serums with natural ingredients for myself and my daughter. Over time, we began to notice visible changes in our skin, and soon our family and friends noticed too. They started using the products as well.

Sinem has very sensitive skin, and for years she struggled with issues caused by conventional cosmetics—constant redness and persistent acne on her chin. Dermatologists confirmed the problem was hormonal, but with the natural creams I created, her acne gradually disappeared, and for the past eight years, she has not experienced any recurrence in that area. This was how our first brand  Miracleixir was born.

From Miracleixir to Laleva Natural

Together with my husband, Şadan Tekcan, we built Miracleixir and a skincare center in Turkey, which we managed for six years. However, after Şadan’s unexpected passing, I began the process of moving to the United States to be with Sinem and my grandkids. Following a long period of mourning, Sinem and I decided to honor Sadan's contributions by continuing with a new name and new formulations. 

That’s how Laleva Natural came to life. All of our formulas are entirely our own—unique, one-of-a-kind, and produced exclusively by us. Each product is the result of tireless work, often day and night, driven by passion and dedication.

Our Philosophy

We never include any ingredient in our products that we would not use on our own skin. We put our love into every formula, with the genuine desire to benefit everyone who uses them. Our research-driven foundation, combined with our passion for excellence, allows us to produce products of uncompromising quality.

Freshness: Because our products are living “skin food,” we recommend storing them in a cool place, preferably in the refrigerator.

Why More Matters

We believe that the more natural actives you combine, the faster and more effective the results. Natural origin ingredients are alive and create strong synergistic effects with each other. That is why every one of our products contains at least 40 high-performance, living natural actives. Our serums and moisturizers contain 60–70 ingredients per formula. Through our own experience, we have proven that more actives create maximum results.

Our Ingredients

We use over 200 carefully selected raw materials, sourced from the regions and countries where they grow best. Whenever possible, we obtain them during their natural harvest season, in alignment with climate conditions. We take great care to use only the highest-quality natural and organic raw materials in our products.
