Sinem Taylor is a Chemical and Biological Engineer with a Master's degree in Genetics and over 10 years of experience in biotechnology, genomics, and life sciences. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about translating scientific innovation into meaningful, real-world solutions. Inspired by her mother, biochemist and cosmetic formulator Sevay Tekcan, she joined forces with her to co-found Laleva Natural. Together, they combine expertise in biotechnology, genetics, and cosmetic science to develop neuroscience-backed skincare that corrects visible skin concerns while supporting emotional wellbeing through clean, thoughtfully formulated ingredients.

Sevay Tekcan is a biochemist with nearly 20 years of experience leading daginostics manufacturing, research, and product development. She helped establish one of Turkey's first diagnostic manufacturing facilities and developed patented human diagnostic test kits before founding her first skincare brand, Miracleixir. Today, she co-founded Laleva Natural, where she combines decades of formulation expertise with emerging neurocosmetic science to create clean, high-performance skincare that supports both skin health and emotional wellbeing.

It started with Necessity, not Trends

When I developed severe allergies to conventional skincare, I reached a point where I could no longer use many of the products I had trusted for years. As a biochemist, I wasn't satisfied with simply accepting that my skin would always react this way. Instead, I began researching natural ingredients and creating my own formulations.

I first made these products for myself and my daughter, Sinem.

Over time, something incredible happened. My skin became healthier, and Sinem's persistent hormonal acne gradually disappeared after years of struggling with redness and breakouts. Friends and family began asking for the same products, and what started in our home eventually became our first skincare brand.

Years later, after moving to the United States, we decided to begin again.

Today, Laleva Natural combines my background in biochemistry with Sinem's education in chemical biology and genetics. Together we created a brand that reflects decades of research, formulation experience, and one simple belief: skincare should do more than temporarily improve your complexion.

That's why we developed our Multi-Layer Skin Correction philosophy—combining neuroscience, botanical science, and clinical-grade actives to help skin become healthier, stronger, and more resilient over time.
